About Moringa

Moringa trees are not only beautiful but also one of the most nutritious leaves that you can eat. Known as the tree of life in Africa, for its dense nutrient content within the leaves, it is a staple of most third-world countries.

Moringa Stenopetala is the more rarely grown African moringa, not often seen here in the US. It is slower growing compared to its sister Oleifera (Indian) Moringa but well worth it. Both products are grown locally in our Asheville, NC greenhouse. Due to high demand, we are presently out of stock for Moringa.

Moringa is possibly the best food supplement that you can buy, and now you can grow it for yourself.  Loaded with vitamins, minerals and antioxidants, it is known as the Nutrition Powerhouse. Fresh moringa leaves contain 70 to 75% moisture, and when they are dried, the moisture content goes down to less than 8%. Additionally, the nutrients become much more concentrated. That is the reason why people prefer to use Moringa Leaf Powder in their supplements. Moringa contains: Protein, Fat, Carbohydrates, Fiber, Minerals, Calcium, Magnesium, Phosphorous, Potassium, Copper, Iron, Sulphur, Oxalic Acid, Vitamin A , Carotene, Vitamin B, Choline, Vitamin B1, Thiamin, Vitamin B2, Riboflavin, Vitamin B3, Nicotinic Acid, Vitamin C,  Ascorbic Acid, Vitamin E, Tocopherol Acetate, Arginine, Histidine, Lysine, Tryptophan, Phenylanaline, Methionine, Threonine, Leucine, Soleucine and Valine.
